ABOUT ME

I’ve always been drawn to building things — whether that meant starting my first company, teaching myself to code late at night, or designing secure systems as a CISO. This blog is where I share those lessons, both the wins and the setbacks, in the hope that they’ll help others navigating their own journeys.

I founded Member.buzz, a platform built to help organizations coordinate and grow. I guided it for nearly a decade, learning firsthand how challenging — and rewarding — it is to bring an idea from spark to reality. That experience shaped how I think about product design, discipline of vision, and the importance of listening to users.

After Member.buzz, I shifted into cybersecurity leadership, serving as a CISO and helping organizations strengthen their security, manage vendors, and prepare for the unexpected. Those years taught me how critical it is to balance vision with pragmatism — a lesson I first learned as a founder and carried into every security decision.

Today, I’m the founder of YGI Solutions, where we help companies simplify their tech stacks, cut costs, and stay compliant. YGI blends advisory expertise with hands-on implementation, so the solutions we recommend aren’t just the right ones on paper — they actually work in practice.

On this blog, you’ll find:

  • Stories from my entrepreneurial journey (the good, the bad, and the lessons learned).
  • Reflections on security leadership and technology.
  • Thoughts on where IT, compliance, and business are headed next.

Thanks for reading, and I hope these reflections spark ideas, lessons, or even just a little reassurance that the messy middle of building and leading is where the real growth happens.
